Heya! here you can post all of your ideas for Crashday 2!

track pieces, textures, cars, functions... anything!

I say: the more the better! just post it, even if you think it might not be possible.

Ok, ill start with my best idea.

The idea is for the Track Editor.

This looks like a simple drawing, and it is. it is supposed to be like the track editor.
The idea is like you can just draw a line (which you for example choose to be a tunnel) and then make the curves exactly like you want it to be.
This way you would be able to make unlimited variations of tracks!

(In the image the black is highway, red is bridge and yellow is normal road)

Though, i dont think we are able to make this possible, haha.

Totaly impossible...or if anyone could get CD source code, I could not understand all, but i can understand a few of codes :) I really would like to edit that track editor...make 99m automatically possible without need QME (this IS actually possible, i need to find witch value in the *exe of CD to lock...) and make tracks size mutch longer...on v2, 2000 is ridiculous...wanna at least 9000 (i did look on the *exe too, but exe dosen't need to be responsable of this, i find no info about this)

This is horinzontaly impossible. But this is a good idea.
You can do it verticaly (with terrains) already lol

We'd better cogitate about possible stuff !

lol haze,u can make it i can help but i cant make it xD,u better sell all tnose mods 4 money,make a crashday 2 xD with a lot of mods and i have friend what can help ya,he is a game maker lol like me xP but he is better so....soo....

really, don't talk ridiculous shit, as you may remember you have started a thread here at 2008-12-27 13:04:38 and i have to say, if this doesn't proof hes a number 1 faker, who thinks hes master of everything (but in reality who knows nothing but nothing) so come on and let us see som proofs (menus, this thing i have spoken about,...)

Anyway, i will now start with the HUD, as menu has been finished. I guess the def HUD should now be in front of every1's eye, to say it before we start, the postions of the HUD-Elements (Speedometer, Arrow,...) are NOT changeable (as far as i know). maybe i can kinda "cheat" with other tex image's ratio's but i don't think so. The HUD should match to the glass-stile menu of course.

Any Ideas here?

I ll post an image of def HUD, for ya to dl,edit and reupload to have a better idea of what are you talking about if neccasary

This shows the size of the image, and the color is where, for example, the hud arrow is in the image. The white is transparent.
Would this way the new image be 'resized' to meet the original image's size, or would this actually change the position?

not sure what you mean, if i may increase size of image, but not the texture (arrow) itself, you ask if that rezises the texture or changes the postion?
if so, i also thought that way actually, i guess that would resize the arrow dramatically

EDIT: i have tried it with the arrow, and it fully ruined the mapping, as i assume it is a textured model. I can increase texture quality (size) and of course som nice glass effects here aswell, but the visability is another point. I ll try and edit again afterwards
